ENTERPRISE DESIGN AND DELIVERY
I work across the space between enterprise direction and the detail needed to make change work. That can mean shaping outcomes and capabilities, then following them into services, journeys, processes, information and day-to-day work. This site is a home for some of the problems, ideas and approaches I’m exploring.

THINKING
What should genuinely become national?Health NZ’s Health Digital Investment Plan raises an interesting Enterprise Design question: what should become common nationally, and where does variation still need to remain?I don’t know enough from the outside to propose an answer. What interests me is how I would start making the problem clearer.I’d want to understand the outcomes being sought, whose experience might change, what capabilities need to become consistent, what information needs to move reliably, and where genuine local variation still matters. The sketch alongside this is a first pass at making those questions visible.
About
I work across the span from direction into deliveryMy background is in Business Analysis, Enterprise Design and delivery. I tend to work where organisations are trying to make sense of something complex and turn direction into something people can actually use. That might mean working at enterprise level on outcomes, capabilities and operating models. It might also mean getting into journeys, processes, information, decisions, systems and exceptions.I’m most useful when those levels need to stay connected. I like making complexity visible, asking the questions that help people understand what is really going on, and then helping turn that understanding into practical progress. The example alongside shows the kind of shift I mean: starting with an enterprise-level digital direction, then following one small part of it into the work.
